Introduction

My name is Nick Buitendijk. From a young age, I have been a huge animal lover. That’s not surprising when you grow up surrounded by dogs, cats, sheep, rabbits, chickens, cows, horses, and birds. My greatest passion has always been birds, and it still is. I am mainly talking about parrots; we now have quite a collection of them fluttering around the house (some species quite literally).

Species conservation
Breeding is one thing. Bringing it back is the next.

Parrots are struggling in their natural habitats due to habitat loss, climate change, and poaching. In aviculture, however, many species are actually thriving.

That’s why we support the work of Chris Biro and Bird Recovery International, who prepare young birds for a life back in their original environment.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you have a question about our birds, working method, or current selection? Here you will find the answers to some frequently asked questions. Can't find your question? Feel free to contact us.

Are your birds hand-tame?

Most young birds are raised naturally by their parents. As a result, they are often not hand-tame. The aim is for the birds to grow up as naturally as possible and, above all, to be able to be birds.

Have the birds been tested for diseases and sex?

The birds offered come from tested stocks and have been screened for the known parrot diseases. The young birds are also sexed. Additional tests are possible upon consultation.

How can I inquire about the availability of a bird?

The current selection is listed on the website. For more information about availability, prices, or a specific bird, you can contact us directly at: 0641361182

What we stand for

Our birds grow up as they should: with space to fly, companions of their own kind around them, and parents who raise them themselves.
